We are proud to have been part of Feed Nova Scotia’s recent capital campaign. The goal was a lofty one, to pay for the massive new warehouse facility without requiring a mortgage. That meant a total fundraising goal of $1.4 million.
After much hard work by the entire campaign team (featuring our very own Jim Mills, Matthew Mills and Jamie Goddard), Feed Nova Scotia announced on May 8 that the campaign has successfully raised more than $1.5 million!
We want to thank all our customers, partners, team, and community members who supported the drive. Without a mortgage, Feed NS will be able to direct even more of their attention to serving the 1 in 37 Nova Scotians relying on a food bank (one-third of whom are children).
