  2. Consider investing in a comfortable and supportive desk chair.
  3. Sprucing up your space with greenery increases productivity and cognitive attention as well as improving air quality.
  4. Buy a decorative pillow or seat cushion for your chair. This provides a sense of comfort and allows you to feel as if your work area is your own.
  5. Keep your space clean and distraction-free. Remove extraneous items from your desk and tidy it up at the end of each day so you can return to a pleasant workspace the next morning.
  6. Natural light is ideal, but if it isn’t a possibility, add a small lamp to your desk to ensure you have sufficient light. Bad lighting can cause fatigue, eyestrain, and headaches.
